Your notes stay on your iPhone.
Fond is built so that we never see your chats, your screenshots or your notes. This page explains how the app keeps that promise, and what this website does with your visit.

The app
- Everything stays on your iPhone. Your screenshots, the text Fond reads from them and every note it writes are stored on your device. Fond has no servers that receive them.
- The intelligence runs on the phone. Fond reads screenshots with Apple's on-device text recognition and writes notes with Apple's on-device language model. Your chats are never sent to a cloud AI service.
- No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile of you on our side.
- Only the screenshots you choose. Fond uses the iPhone's photo picker and share sheet, so it never needs access to your whole photo library.
- Locked with Face ID. Fond opens with Face ID or your passcode, and hides its contents in the app switcher.
- Kept out of iCloud backup. Your notes are excluded from iCloud backups. An encrypted export, made only when you ask for it, lets you move them to a new phone.
- Delete means delete. Removing a man from Fond deletes his note and its screenshots from your iPhone.
- No ads, no trackers, no data sold. Fond includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. Purchases go through Apple.
Fond's App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".
